High School Ministry

TUESDAY NIGHTS:

On Tuesday nights, our high school youth group meets for a time of worship, Bible study, games, and connecting from 6:30pm-8:45pm in our upstairs class gathering space. During this time, students are challenged from the Bible, and they are given an opportunity to form relationships with one another and adult leaders. Our teachings emphasize the unparalleled relevancy of God’s Word for all of life, the development of a thoughtful Christian worldview, the Spirit-empowered giftedness of all Christians for ministry, and God’s rescue mission to all nations.

From 8:00-8:45pm, students break up into small gender-specific groups with an adult leader. During this time, students are given the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers and a spiritual mentor so that they can be open with one another about what God is doing in their lives. They spend time going over the topic or passage introduced, emphasizing that the teachings of the Bible are relevant for all of life and our relationships, and they are encouraged to follow Jesus more closely and trust Him more dearly. And they get to pray with and for each other. From 8:45-9pm, it is time to head home.

OTHER EVENTS:

Throughout the year there are several other activities such as camps, special events, homeless meal outreaches, etc. Check the church calendar to see upcoming events and information regarding these activities.
